It’s a decision that the staff of Greater Deliverance Church-Youth Activity Center (GDC-YAC), 110 Holiday Lane, Byram, Miss, is hoping to keep parents in the Metro area from facing. The Center is working to find community partners who will team with them to sponsor 15-20 children for this year’s Summer Program, which begins May 26th. The fully staffed Center offers age appropriate classes and a state of the art recreational area that includes, pool tables, air hockey, a basketball court and playstation center.
The goal is to ensure no parent has to piece together child care arrangements or even worse, leave children in inappropriate settings as they work or look for work.
GDC-YAC will host an open house Friday, April 10, 17 and 24 at 7p.m. Parents and potential sponsors can meet the staff and learn more about the center.
