This special showing will also include commentary by JoAnne Prichard Morris. These films will be the last in a series, Willie Morris: The Man and His Words, about the widely-acclaimed Mississippi author. The film schedule is as follows:
1:00 PM Good Old Boy
Based on the autobiographical story by Willie Morris (also called The River Pirates) this film follows the adventures of a group of boys growing up in Yazoo, Mississippi.
3:00 PM My Dog Skip
Based on Willie Morris' best-selling memoir of his boyhood, this film is a coming of age story about a boy and his Jack Russell terrier puppy, Skip.
