One of the first events of the season is the Madison Christmas Parade, scheduled for Saturday, December 6th at 9:00am. After appearing in the parade, Santa will be available at the “Red Caboose” in Old Towne Madison for a meet and greet with local children.

Another opportunity for kids to see Santa Claus will be held on Sunday, December 21st from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Santa, Mrs. Claus and several of Santa’s most seasoned elves will take time away from their bustling schedule to make a pre-holiday, last-minute visit to the community of Clinton. They will arrive by police escort to 315 Concord Drive in the Olde Vineyard Subdivision. This annual event is coordinated by Clinton resident Darryl Sims. “Santa always accepts our invitation because he knows that he will be able to see lots of good boys and girls. This is a gift to the community and an opportunity to let Santa know that some of the best behaved children live right here,” says Sims. Santa will sit in a beautiful outdoor sleigh and listen to wish lists and hand out Christmas treats before flying back to the North Pole.

Both the Madison Christmas Parade and Santa’s Clinton appearance are free to the public and parents are encouraged to bring cameras and camcorders to capture that special “Santa Moment”.
